The European Go Congress lasts for 2 weeks (19.07-03.08.2025) and is an opportunity for passionate players of the game to participate in many tournaments, meet professional players from China, Japan or South Korea, and make new friends. In 2024 it will host almost 900 players from more than 40 countries!
One of the most prestigious tournaments played during the congress is the European Championship, in which European professional players and top amateurs take part. In addition to several tournaments open to all event participants, the congress also hosts tournaments for children or activities combining relaxation and mind sports competitions.
Congress will take place in The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre Warsaw is an exclusive convention center that combines luxurious hospitality with modern infrastructure for our attendees. Located in a picturesque area, it offers spacious and elegantly decorated rooms and high-tech conference halls.

One of the main attractions of each European Go Congress. Open to all male-female pairs, the tournament will be held under the auspices of the World Pair Go Association of Japan
The congress will feature many other major tournaments and competitions, such as the Finals of the European Pandanet Go Team Championship between the top four teams, and the Nations Cup Tournament - teams of international players who get to know each other during the congress, bonus the difference in strength, nationality and gender in the team.
